Why does trigonelline increase your memory?

27/09/2023

rigonelline (TG), a compound from coffee and fenugreek and radish seeds, significantly improves spatial learning and memory in aged mice and is thought to ameliorate cognitive decline in aging humans. Researchers administered TG to aged mice and observed improvements in spatial learning and memory.

Trigonelline has been found to promote pathways related to nervous system development, mitochondrial function and neurotransmitter release.

Research in the hippocampus reveals that TG boosts neurotransmitters and reduces inflammation. This natural compound has potential to mitigate age-related cognitive problems.
